Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation. Beverly Hill, California. Bowl in Sumida pottery fabrication, circa Meiji period. Country of origin: Japan. This bowl hasan all-over drip glaze design in tones of ebony, blue, and white on the exterior, and green on the interior. There is an applied pottery design on the exterior surround of six figures: five males and one female. There is a stamp on the bottom inJapanese characters by Ryosai. This bowl measures 3 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter. Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation.
